Frima Announces Steve Couture’s Departure

Québec – April 11, 2017 – Mr. François Macerola, chairman of Frima’s board of directors, announces that Steve Couture is leaving the company. Co-founder of the studio, Mr. Couture fulfilled, until today, the role of CEO of Frima Group, the body in charge of corporate and strategic development.

As part of the announcement, Mr. Macerola had this to say: “I want to thank Mr. Couture for his continued contribution to Frima’s growth. Through his involvement and leadership, Steve has made of Frima a company of international caliber. I wish him all the best in his future endeavors.”

For his part, Steve Couture declared: “The fourteen years I have spent with Frima were nothing short of wonderful, and I am proud of everything that we have accomplished together, from the company’s numerous successes to its growth within the industry. The time has come for me to move on to new challenges. I have great faith in Christian Daigle, who now heads the entirety of the company’s activities.”

“Steve has played a significant role in Frima’s success,” states Christian Daigle, Frima’s CEO. “His departure marks a definite turning point for Frima, but I am convinced that he will continue to have a positive influence on our ecosystem and that his experience will serve greater ambitions.”

Mr. Couture remains a shareholder and continues to sit on Frima’s board of directors.
